Program Funding
Not-for-profit organizational members are eligible to apply for program
funding in the following categories:
- Adult Basic Literacy
- English or French as a Second Language
- Healthy Communities
- Health and Wellness
- Family Life
- Training for Employment
Program funding must go toward learning opportunities that are part-time,
non-credit, and adult-based. Refer to Program
Granting Guidelines for more details.
Evidence must be given to demonstrate that learning opportunities are
being offered only to individuals who are barriered
from participating in other lifelong learning opportunities provided in
the community or to mobilizing community volunteers and
other resources in support of learning. Financial, literacy and
special needs are the barriers that Council is addressing in the current
year.

Funding for Curriculum & Resource Development
Not-for-profit organizational members are eligible to apply for Curriculum
& Resource Development Project funding.
Evidence must be given to demonstrate the need to develop the proposed
curriculum or resources in order to fill a learning gap in Lethbridge.

more details.
Maximum funding per project proposal is $5,000.00. Submissions are due
annually on October 15 for the following year. Eligible expenses include
wage costs for researching and developing new curriculum and resources,
costs of materials and printing of resources and administration costs
(max. 10% of eligible expenses).
